PRIO has compliance policies that guide the conduct of the company as well as its employees and business partners. The Anti-Corruption Policy provides instructions and guidelines for the prevention, detection, and treatment of practices and/or conduct that may be or appear to be acts of corruption, bribery, or kickbacks. Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Policy guides the company's conduct in relation to these issues.
The PRIO Compliance Program is voluntary and is constantly being improved. It gathers principles such as prevention, detection, and response, with the aim of guiding the conduct of employees and third parties who act on behalf of the company to conduct their activities ethically and with integrity and transparency.
The program not only provides tools that enable PRIO to identify and address integrity and compliance risks, but also serves as an instrument to fulfill the company's goals and strategies.
PRIO is a signatory to the Business Pact for Integrity and against Corruption, an initiative by the Ethos Institute for Business and Social Responsibility. The Compact's guidelines are based on the Charter of Principles of Social Responsibility, the UN Convention against Corruption, the 10th principle of the Global Compact, and the OECD guidelines. The company's commitment is to promote a fairer and more ethical market and to eradicate bribery and corruption.
