Free course for onboard work: registration is now open for the 4th edition of Reação Offshore in Rio de Janeiro
Registration for Reação Offshore 2025 is now open. The free training program is now in its 4th edition in Rio de Janeiro and offers 120 places for those who want to work in the offshore market. The initiative is organized by Todos na Luta, Instituto Reação and Firjan SENAI, with the support of PRIO.
Classes will begin in December and be held at two SENAI units: Benfica, with 70 vacancies, and Macaé, with 50 vacancies. The course will last five months and has a workload of 340 hours, distributed in face-to-face meetings five times a week, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, as well as fortnightly activities on Saturdays.
Aimed at professionals with technical training in mechanics, industrial automation, instrumentation, chemistry/petrochemistry, electrotechnics, electromechanics, electronics and the like, the training includes both theoretical foundations and practical activities in the laboratory. The content covers topics such as applied instrumentation, primary oil processing and maintenance, as well as workshops run by Instituto Reação that work on socio-emotional skills that are fundamental to the onboard environment.
Aiming to ensure that they can stay, each student selected will receive a monthly allowance of R$ 700, for a total of R$ 3,500 over the course, as well as free classes at SENAI and certification recognized by the sector. Applications are open until October 1, 2025 and can be made through the program’s official website.
