Did you know that the Basking Shark feeds using a filtering method?
It swims with its mouth open, ingesting large volumes of water to filter and capture small organisms such as plankton.
Just as a shark carefully selects what nourishes its body, at the Peregrino (Basking Shark) Field, we extract resources from the marine subsoil, safely and with care for the environment, to produce energy with the best possible efficiency.
