Health and wellness festival ’I🖤PRIO Race’ brings together over 3,000 participants in celebration of PRIO’s 10th anniversary
This weekend, the Rio de Janeiro Jockey Club hosted the first edition of the I🖤PRIO Race, an event that celebrated the company’s 10th anniversary. With more than 3,000 people attending, the event brought together sport, music and gastronomy in an unprecedented experience in the city. With routes of 5 km, 10 km and a 5+5 km relay, participants started at 4:30 pm after a warm-up led by DJ Carol Emmerick.
The sports program was followed by concerts by the band Bangalafumenga and the DJs Dubdogz, who transformed the Jockey into an open-air dance floor. The structure also included a recovery area, wellness activations and a gastronomic space with brands such as Clan, Olga RI, O Falafel and Levitá Pizza.
“The I🖤PRIO Race was much more than a sporting event. It was a wellness festival celebrating our 10-year history, the energy that drives us and our connection with the city of Rio,” said Olivia Richardson, the company’s Head of Communications and Marketing, reinforcing PRIO’s commitment to initiatives that go beyond the oil and gas sector.
The event received support from brands such as Heineken, Red Bull, Shopping Leblon and Zona Sul, as well as incentives from the Federal Sports Law, the Ministry of Sport and the Federal Government. The structure sought to reinforce PRIO’s position of investing in premium experiences and fostering the city’s sporting and cultural legacy.
In addition to employees and the general public, the event was attended by Flavio Canto, Olympic medalist and founder of Instituto Reação; Bernard Fonseca, CEO of X3M; Nicolas Costa, car racer and instructor; and Carol Barcellos, journalist and ambassador of the PRIO Health and Wellness Program. Together, they amplified the purpose of integration and well-being, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its social, cultural and sporting causes.
