The action – which was video recorded and released by the oil company – is part of a safety campaign to draw attention and promote proper care
Rio de Janeiro, May 2024 – There’s life beyond work and there are people waiting for us at home. Remembering this is the aim of the safety campaign promoted by PRIO. In a video that the oil company released internally and on social media, divided into episodes, PRIO shows how new signs were created by the children of employees who work on board the company’s rigs.
Safety is a priority, which is why it is necessary to follow several rules, especially in offshore operations, a setting that can pose many risks. What happens, however, is that many of the safety signs and guidelines have already become part of the “landscape” and needed reinforcement to ensure attention and compliance with the standards.
Aimed at promoting a safe working environment engaged in accident prevention, the company developed an emotional approach, with the adoption of new safety signs that dot the fields on the platforms to supplement our current signage.
The campaign started in April – safety month – and was created by João Muri and Lucas Mendes, writer and art director at PRIO, respectively. Access the link to watch.
