PRIO debuts in the Porsche Cup Endurance Series
PRIO makes its debut in the Porsche Cup Endurance Series sponsoring the driver Nicolas Costa from Rio de Janeiro.
Considered the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil, with its activities concentrated in Rio de Janeiro, PRIO will have a personalized car for the competition.
“We believe in auto racing in Rio de Janeiro, which is why we are sponsoring Nicolas. As well as PRIO, he is an example of overcoming, resilience, courage, and creativity, pillars that the company brings since its foundation. We want Nicolas to accelerate on the tracks while we accelerate in the fields,” explained PRIO’s CEO, Roberto Monteiro.
Nicolas Costa will be the pilot
Passionate about cars and racing since he was a little boy, driver Nicolas Costa competed in his first race in 2001, when he was just 9 years old.
Nicolas made his reputation in Grand Touring cars and is the driver from Rio de Janeiro with the most international titles in recent decades, being a two-time Italian champion, European champion, Brazilian champion, two-time Carioca and Paulista champion, as well as having several other achievements.
Costa has also had experiences as a driver and instructor in factories such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Mazda.
“I have always had gasoline in my veins and I believe that representing PRIO in the Porsche Cup Endurance will be the opportunity to exalt a brand essentially from Rio de Janeiro that, like me, believes in the constant search for good results”, says Nicolas.
In addition to the customized car, the PRIO brand will also be printed on the driver’s overalls, helmet, cap, and shirt.
