PRIO is present at another major event in 2024: the company is one of the supporters of the 31st edition of the Brazilian Music Awards. The ceremony, which will take place at the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro on June 12, will pay tribute to Tim Maia, celebrating his legacy with unprecedented performances by 27 greatest names in Brazilian music. Among the featured artists are Marisa Monte, Ney Matogrosso, and Seu Jorge, who will perform classics from the honoree’s repertoire.

As part of the sponsorship, PRIO is signing the vignette for the Brazilian Popular Music category and will be representing the Favela Brass project. This is the first time that a social project takes the stage to present an award at the event. The initiative is part of I ❤ PRIO platform, which today includes more than 40 social, cultural and sports projects supported by the company.

Under the direction of José Maurício Machline and Giovanna Machline, the most outstanding artists, composers, producers and musicians will be awarded in 32 categories in 2023. “Music has a very strong power to awaken sensations and emotions. It marks moments, remembers people, values events – it leaves a mark. And that is what PRIO wants to do too: seek partnerships that match our dynamic, young and constantly changing profile and that help us leave a legacy,” explains Gabriel Hackme, Sponsorship and Incentive Projects Manager.
