PRIO Sponsors the First TEDx Rio Women
PRIO sponsors the first TEDx Rio Women, which will take place on November 7th, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer). The event is part of the G20 celebrations, bringing together women from different generations to discuss essential topics such as the care economy, entrepreneurship and access to capital, female participation in technology and fighting violence against women.
With the mission of giving a voice to inspiring women who are leading social and economic transformations, TEDx Rio Women brings personalities such as Tamara Klink (sailor and writer), Renata Gil (jurist and judge), Heloisa Borges (Director of Oil, Gas and Biofuels Studies at EPE), Nathalia Santos (journalist and content creator) and Mariana Bispo (journalist) to the stage, in addition to featuring a presentation by Carol Barcellos (journalist).
PRIO’s support for TEDx Rio Women is part of the sponsorship platform I ❤ PRIO, which supports transformative initiatives in the areas of sport, music, culture and education, with the purpose of leaving a positive and legacy in society.
“Through the I love PRIO platform, we support initiatives that transform lives, connecting culture, sport, education and debating important topics, which have the potential to leave a legacy for society. TEDx Women enters this platform since it has the power to amplify the voices of inspiring women and raise urgent experiences and issues, showing the positive impact of women’s presence in the most diverse areas, including energy, where we have been working for almost 10 years,” comments Olivia Richardson, Head of Marketing and Communications at PRIO.
