PRIO uses artificial intelligence in HR and saves more than 70 hours per sector

PRIO has been using Microsoft Copilot for about a year to optimize job descriptions and skills mapping in its Human Resources department. With the implementation of the technology, the company is saving over 70 hours per area and generating more accurate results than previously contracted services.

The current process consists of two hours of planning to build the prompt and two hours with the manager of each area (one for an interview and one for a review), to detail the task assignments. The interview is recorded and transcribed by the AI, which, in one minute, generates complete skills mapping and job descriptions. Through conceptual modeling, AI learns what a skill is and applies it to PRIO’s organizational levels, defining the behaviors expected of each professional. Previously, this process took around 50 hours of consultancy and 26 hours from each manager.

“At PRIO, we seek solutions focused on operational efficiency and cost optimization in a safe, scalable and sustainable manner. At the IT department, our aim is to offer the best tools, understanding the needs of each area to create practical and efficient solutions. This is a clear example of that,” says Wescley Fernandes, IT Manager at PRIO.

Marcelo Ludwig, HR specialist and creator of the solution, adds: “Developing this initiative took about a week, between learning the platform and testing the commands. We have already applied it to more than 15 careers, within their respective areas, with 99% assertiveness and continue to expand to cover all sectors.”
